The Harriet May Mills Art and Home Center is a permanent structure on the grounds of the New York State Fair in Syracuse. It is named for Syracuse-based suffrage leader Harriet May Mills (1857 - 1935). The structure opened in 1934 as the Harriet May Mills Women’s Building. Mills attended its dedication. She died about one year later.
Today the Harriet May Mills Art and Home Center hosts exhibits on popular and fine arts, photography, and the culinary arts during each run of the Fair and is rented for varied purposes during the rest of the year.
